  • Jonas Hecksher

    Jonas Hecksher holds a degree from Danmarks Designskole (Denmark’s School of Design) and École supérieure d’arts graphiques et d’architecture, Paris, where he specialized in graphic design and typography design. He co-founded design agency, e-Types in 1997. His work range from corporate visual identities to fashion brand typefaces such as Danish Film Institute; Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Georg Jensen, Jacobsen Beer, Danish National Police, Noir, Royal Danish Theatre, Royal Academy of Fine Arts School of Architecture, SuperBrugsen, Aquascutum London.

    Hecksher's profound interest is typography design for newspapers. Clients include Daily Newspaper Dagen; Daily Newspaper BT, Daily Newspaper Berlingske and the Rzezcspospolita newspaper in Warsaw, Poland.

    He is a 5-time recipient and 2-time nominee for the Danish Design Award. He has also been awarded a Destinctive Merit fra Art Directors Club N.Y., a certificate of excellence in Type design from Type Directors Club N.Y., 2 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronce Creative Circle Arward and as one of the only Danish designers that have been nominated for a silver award at the British D&AD and was selected for the D&AD annual 2003. Furthermore, Denmark’s leading business weekly has ranked him among Denmark’s 100 most talented people under the age of 35.

  • Jens Kajus

    Creative Director and Partner in Copenhagen based design studio e-Types established in 1997. He joined e-Types in 1998 where he has worked ever since with a wide range of projects within typography such as font design, newspaper design and magazines as well as art-related projects and catalogues. Clients include Georg Jensen, Aarhus School of Business, Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects, 3XN architects, SMK National Gallery of Denmark, Daily Newspaper Dagen, Danish National Police, Royal Danish Theatre, Carlsberg/Jacobsen.

    Kajus is a 4-time recipient and a 2-time nominee for the Danish Design Award. Recently he has been awarded with a Gold Award by Creative Circle for the corporate design for DR Koncerthuset (DR Concert Hall). His design of newspaper DAGEN was awarded a 'distinctive merit' from the Art Directors Club New York. Kajus is a visiting lecturer and external examiner at Denmark’s Design School.

  • Henrik Kubel

    Partner in London based design studio A2/SW/HK. In 2009 A2/SW/HK launched A2-TYPE to release and distribute over a decade¹s worth of specially crafted typefaces. A2-TYPE create and release retail typefaces at regular intervals, as well as develop bespoke fonts for magazines, newspapers, brands etc. Clients include MoMA; Design Museum, London; Wallpaper*; Royal Mail; Penguin Press UK, NYC; Phaidon Press; Faber & Faber; Tate Modern, Tate Britain and V&A Museum.

    In 2010 Kubel was awarded the prestigious 3-year artist and designer working grant from The Danish Art Foundation. Kubel is a visiting lecturer at Royal College of Art in London and a member of Alliance Graphique Internationale, AGI.

  • Jeremie Hornus

    Jeremie Hornus studied Graphic Design at Le Scriptorium de Toulouse, France, he then completed a Master of Art in Typeface Design at the University of Reading, UK. He worked in London with Dalton Maag Ltd where he was involved in brand identity for clients such as Burberry, Toyota, HP, Nokia, Danish Industries, Dubai Metro, Manchester Metrolink, and the city of Southampton.

    He now lives and works in Paris and creates retail and custom typefaces.
