Custom typeface for the longstanding youth and community center The Bronte, made in collaboration with London design studio DutchScot.
The typeface is directly based on sketches and drawings made by children of The Bronte. It was important for us that the typeface stayed true to the letter drawings and that the final letters could hopefully be recognised by the kids at The Bronte.
We wanted to further capture the energy present in the drawings, so we built a randomisation feature into the typeface. This means that as you write the individual letters change, adding an element of surprise.
